At GED Bridge, we equip you with everything you need to succeed on your GED journey. Our resources include study guides, practice exams, instructional videos, and one-on-one tutoring sessions. What Subjects Are on the GED test?

The GED test consists of four main sections, each covering different subjects with allocated test times. The Mathematical Reasoning section focuses on arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis, with a total test time of 115 minutes. In Reasoning Through Language Arts, the content includes reading comprehension, grammar, and writing an extended response or essay, with 150 minutes given for the test. The Science section delves into life sciences, including biology, physical sciences like chemistry, and earth and space sciences, where you can expect questions involving scientific practices and reading graphs; this section lasts 90 minutes. Finally, the Social Studies section covers U.S. history, civics and government, economics, and geography, with a 70-minute test time.
